Pacific Jeans Group, a leading exporter of premium jeans in 50+ countries, started in 1984. In 1986, they launched Bangladesh's first denim
laundry. In FY 2022-2023, EPB ranks them 5th among the top 10 contributors to the country's apparel export earnings.
In 2019, Pacific Jeans Group launched Pacific Knit Division, specializing in knit apparel manufacturing and export. The division comprises
PACIFIC CASUALS LTD. for apparel and PACIFIC KNITEX LTD. for fabric production. Known for quality and innovation, they produce a range of
knitwear and prioritize sustainability, customer satisfaction, workplace safety, and compliance standards.
The Key Person of Pacific Knit Division
Mr. M Nasir Uddin, the late Founder and Chairman of Pacific Jeans Group, is the pioneer of premium jeans manufacturing in Bangladesh.
The journey of Pacific Jeans began back in 1984 with 200 workers which has gone through a robust learning curve in apparel manufacturing over the years with a continuous focus on efficiency and value addition without compromising the quality.
His unwavering pursuit of excellence helped the company prosper and become the highest grossing-up export manufacturing facility in Bangladesh. He was a living legend as hachievements testify and Pacific Jeans team continues his legacy with the same spirit.

Ms. Tasmeeah Jannat is the Director of Pacific Knit Division, one of renown leading apparel manufacturers.
She holds MBA in Marketing and brings strategic insight and modern leadership to the knitwear segment of the group where she has vision to be the market leader of cut & sew in Asian business focusing on quality and innovation.
Beyond her operational leadership, Ms. Jannat is focusing on bringing women leadership in our industry and deeply committed to social responsibility.
She consistently takes part in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, playing an active role in community development, sustainability programs and employee welfare efforts.
Her vision reflects a balanced approach to business—driving performance while making a positive social impact.
